Thanos holds the six Infinity Gems — Soul, Time, Space, Mind, Reality, Power — and has used them to reshape reality. In his obsession with Death herself, Thanos wipes out half of all life in the universe. The remaining heroes, led by Adam Warlock, must mount the impossible assault.
This storyline directly inspired the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Reading the original is essential for any serious Marvel fan.
